i just ran a 5k and then ate a mcmuffin.
i made the paper:

i’ve caught myself thinking that “finally, my laptop is sufficiently streamlined so i can reach apps w/ a keystroke; and swap windows seamlessly fast”. then i remember that i have 8GB of RAM and i’m still just a hack but w/ a blazingly fast macbookpro.
This is http://stackoverflow.com/faq’s karma points policy:
Amass enough reputation points and Stack Overflow will allow you to go beyond simply asking and answering questions:
15 Vote up
15 Flag offensive
50 Leave commentsâ€
100 Vote down (costs 1 rep)
100 Edit community wiki posts
200 Reduced advertising
250 Vote to close or reopen your questions
250 Create new tags
500 Retag questions
1000 Show total up and down vote counts
2000 Edit other people’s posts
3000 Vote to close or reopen any questions
10000 Delete closed questions, access to moderation tools
†you can always comment on your questions and answers, and any answers to questions you’ve asked, even with 1 rep.
At the high end of this reputation spectrum there is little difference between users with high reputation and moderators. That is very much intentional. We don’t run Stack Overflow. The community does.
I want to build something just to implement a similar point set.

i’ve started running again. if i post it here it makes it more real, right? i don’t have any particular goal in mind except to be able to run a long way at a very slow pace. maybe this will all culminate into a marathon relay at the next fargo marathon. i sat it out this year and i really regret it.
thanks best show. . . for making my mundane afternoons at work manageable.
since returning to nd, i’ve golfed more than i have in the previous few years. this is a very good thing. it forces one to walk outside for about 4 hours. that is the very best part. the game is secondary but i might add that my play has improved since i’ve been able to actually go a few rounds (as opposed to once a year).
i used to want ‘ping eye 2 beryllium copper irons‘ w/ matching wooden woods. now i’m not so sure. all the club in the world will probably not help my game any. and those pings seem a little bulky.
